Answer
In the spiritual world everything is unlimited. All bodies are spiritual, and they are not restricted the way material bodies are. Here in the material world we are confined to one body, and to change it we must give up the present body and take another. But if you remove this limitation and imagine existence without being fixed to one body, that gives some idea of the nature of the spiritual body.
In the spiritual world, by Kṛṣṇa’s will, one can perform different roles. The same spiritual body can expand or transform according to service. Even in the material world we see a small reflection of this — some beings like demons or mystics could change their forms by mystic power. If such transformation is technically possible even within matter, then in the spiritual world, which is fully conscious and under divine energy, such flexibility exists in a far higher and natural way, all for Kṛṣṇa’s service.
Therefore, the spiritual world should not be analyzed with our limited material understanding of fixed name, form, and capacity. Otherwise we may mistakenly think: “Here I am stuck in one body, and in the spiritual world I will also be stuck in one form — that seems limiting.” But that is material thinking. The very fact that the soul can accept different bodies in the material world indicates that the soul’s original spiritual nature has far greater potential.
In reality, there are spiritual laws governed by the Lord’s internal energy, just as the material world is governed by external energy. Our limited material logic cannot fully grasp how spiritual forms function. Hence, trying to judge the spiritual world with material constraints leads to misunderstanding.
